The Harry Potter Series

After many years of passing them buy I finally finally read the Harry Potter Series. I'm not sure what took so long to finally pick those stories up, but I am glad and a little sad that I did, While i found the first 6 stories absolutely delightful fantasy that read quite quickly, The Seventh i found lacking a little bit. The 7th Year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, is full of good versus evil, and hidden memories. Harry's last adventure is a long, twisted and winding one, and sometimes a tad confusing, but almost impossible to put down, with the exception of feeding your family. There were "revelations" in this book that i simply did not care for and that seemed forced. I think the end was tied up just a little too perfectly with way to many hidden deaths that had nothing to do with the overall plot and character growth. For being one of the more hyped about series, i just expected more to the ending It was a climatic ending, but having read the other books one after the other getting to this one, it seemed different the writing seemed off somehow. It just seemed that there should have been something more. All in all i am glad that i read these, and plan to keep them for my daughter to read when she is old enough.
